In login_post example they store the cookie expiry time that are in seconds... Is the same value used as memcache ttl in second... Logically they must be the same...

Expiration in exemple are not mandatory field is information field (only username, groups and remote ip are mandatory) .
the expiry is managed through memcache ttl and configured by Auth_memCookie_Memcached_SessionObject_ExpireTime apache options.

In the Session data, which is the format of the Expiration field?
time-to-live in seconds? unix epoch? datetime per rfc xxxx?

This field are not used by the module is only an exemple of information that can be stored in the session ... The apache configuration use number of secondes...
