NTE already supports 1.20. I didn't put 1.20 builds on Modrinth though, because MTR 3.x for 1.20 that Jon released seems to be just a testing WIP version and has some usability issues, so I don't want to encourage people to use that.
An 1.20 build for NTE 0.4.1 can be downloaded at https://github.com/zbx1425/mtr-nte/actions/runs/6432496575 . You might need to edit fabric.mod.json inside it so that it doesn't complain about MTR being 1.20 instead of 1.20.1.
