Ditto.
Without the a: at the the start of the textarea the autocomplete doesn't work. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be awesome 👍

This regex works for tech companies strategy:
match: /(\b)(\w{2,})$/,

A much simpler autocomplete, only using jquery and jquery ui: https://github.com/johncarmichael/jQuery-Autocomplete-for-textareas (only designed to do a simple autocomplete as per the jquery website, not to replicate yuku-t's work!)

Dude, that is rude and unacceptable to promote you little thing on someone else's bug report.
Your "simple" solution hasn't one-one hundredth the features of this tool.
Not only am I recommending people ignore you, I'm reporting you to GitHub as a spammer, and I hope they bar you.
Go away.

Duuuude calm down. I have no interest in anyone using my 3 lines or code. However this is a little overkill if all you are wanting is a basic autocomplete as per the jquery docs on a textarea. As i said in the post "it is a basic alternative". Clearly not trying to replicate this jquery-textcomplete
functionality. Also, note.. i only have one thing on there, and it is a html page with a bit alteration to the jquery's docs code to get it working on a text area with multiple words..

Take your spam elsewhere. GitHub will soon ban you.

Firstly: https://www.google.co.uk/#q=definition+of+spam&safe=off
Secondly: I thought the idea behind github public projects and the internet as a whole was the sharing of information. This isn't a money making scheme on here.
If github's rules falls against the sharing of information then i do not see the point of github.

Heard from GitHub, they agree you are violating TOS, said will take action.
Bye-bye, you're gone.
