I'll close this one out once #81 is closed. We'll follow up with specific refactors of mig.rb and later webapp.rb later.

Instead of working on this, I've elected to start on a rewrite (or a fork, if a rewrite isn't desired) that introduces testing, allows the API to be split from the frontend UI, standardizes and extends the API responses, and introduces a few new features such as authentication tokens. It's currently nowhere near ready for use, but I think my efforts would be better spent there than working on new features here. I'll still be working on bugfixes here.
