Would it be possible for you to post the logs? Curious to see what tensor it is failing at.

For your second question: Yes you can certainly finetune it on your own dataset.

Thanks. Is this happening with the VIT-tiny or VIT-small (I am guessing latter?). Do you have other applications running on the GPU at that time?
If you still have issues, can you try with the following change for that line:
(q @ k.transpose(-2, -1)) * self.scale to
attn = (q[:,:,:,None,:] * k[:,:,None,:,:]).sum(-1) * self.scale
