generate backbone model/collection/router in coffeescript? about generator HOT 3 CLOSED

I don't believe we currently support this. @mklabs do you think we should somehow hook generators up to the coffeescript compiler so that --coffee triggers conversions from JS generated code to coffee?

You mean with something like https://github.com/rstacruz/js2coffee ? It could work.

Another simpler way of doing so, but it's then up to each generator to support that --coffee option:

// in the backbone:model generator
var ext = this.options.coffee ? 'coffee' : 'js';
this.template('model.' + ext, this.options.name + '-model.' + ext);

Given that the template/ folder of the backbone:model generator has both model.js and model.coffee template, this should work.
