Yeoman doesn't copy components directory into app folder when the project is generated using bbb generator about generator HOT 6 CLOSED

This is an issue for other yeoman init project types too, despite the presence of:

    // specify an alternate install location for Bower
    bower: {
      dir: 'app/components'
    },

in Gruntfile.js.

I'm having the same problem when fancybox yeoman installs it installs two directories / components one at the root of the project and another at the location indicated in Gruntfile.js any suggestions

I'm facing the same issue...changing the bower directory makes it to install the same components in at the root.

This was happening to me and was solved after running npm install bower and then trying to reinstall the packages with yeoman install.

@jsinghfoss Can you try upgrading to yeoman 0.9.5, remove the installed components, run bower cache-clean, and install them again?
