for make it work just do it:
1 - Open the run.sh file
2- Export JAVA_HOME and JAVA env variable inside it file
3 - ./run.sh
Here my run.sh file where i force JAVA 1.6 use
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home
export
JAVA=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Commands/java
java -Xms128m -Xmx512m -cp diylc.jar:lib org.diylc.DIYLCStarter

you had an older java set as default. Not an issue
