@donnx32 The idea of this visualization is from the original YOLO paper. Specifically, YOLO, a one-stage detector try to map the object to a neuron on the feature map that its center belongs to. And the corresponding neuron works to regress the relative bounding box. YOLOv3 and YOLOv4 both inherit this character. Therefore, we can visualize a neuron via the i-th region proposal with a maximum objectness score. Ideally, there is an object that its center should be very close to the location of this neuron.
