I just published version 1.4.14 (fe58d29) of the session plug-in which supports simple use cases of mirrored NERDTree windows. Please try it out and let me know whether it resolves the issue for you. Thanks for the feedback!

I've tested 1.4.16 and got the following errors after OpenSession:

line 87:
E95: Buffer with this name already exist
btw: since the new version, I have the feeling that not-mirrored nerdtree windows are better supported (no warnings on startup)

If you can reproduce the error, can you send me your session file, the one that causes the error when loaded?

Hi Sebastian, thanks for your persistence! I just published vim-session 1.4.17 which should support NERDTree windows without the E95 errors you previously got (at least the ones caused by NERDTree windows). Let me know if this works better for you!

:-) thanks for your persistence too ... no it works fine for me. no errors anymore and the mirrored nerdtrees are mirrored also after opening the session.
