I briefly look at your code and see that you tring to rotate <UL> element
instead of <IMG> element? Is this right?
If yes then - this will not work with this plugin as for now it supports only
rotating images.
I plan to release next generation of jQueryRotate that will also supports
rotating whole content, but this is not current version.
If you do everything right and you still have problem - please try then to
explain it again as I did not get what is wrong from "Steps to reproduce" o_O
