What's your distro, and how did you install Virtualbox? This message simply means it could not find the Virtualbox guest additions iso to mount.

You can download manually http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.1.12/VBoxGuestAdditions_4.1.12.iso (Select version of your VirtualBox) and than mount it to CD

I had the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04 and I solved with:
sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-additions virtualbox-guest-additions-iso
These two packages are not installed by default with the main VirtualBox one
@xdissent Maybe it should be listed on Requirements on the README file.

I have been getting the same issue when re-running the script for IE8 after deleting a image from virtual box
i do notice that there are still files in the directory .ievms/vdh/IE8
should those files be deleted before re-running
