I am an aspiring bioinformatician, currently undergoing advanced training at the Bioinformatics Institute. A graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University in field of biology, with wet lab background. Passionate about developing better tools for bioinformatics and routine automation.

Research experience

Bioinformatics institute project: Pipeline for Loss of heterozygosity regions in exome and genome sequencing data

Currently our team developing pipeline for loss of heterozygosity detection HaploGone

MSc thesis: HIV-1 variability and antiretroviral therapy resistance mutations in the Russian Federation

Assisted in development of novel test system for HIV-1 detection. Performed Sanger sequencing and antiretroveral drug resistance prediction with SierraPy and sierra-local tools

BSc thesis: Effects of hypoxia-inducible factor 1α on immune activation in human atherosclerotic plaques ex vivo

Investigated cytotoxicity of PX-478 (HIF-1α inhibitor) and CoCl2 (HIF-1α activator) and their effect on immunoactivation in human ex-vivo atherosclerotic plaques. Extracted peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). Performed PBMC and explant short-term hypoxic cultivation.
