@amoebaworks unfortunately this won't be possible for the time being - not easily. The only way this library is able to access the HTML5 input validity is via the target of the change
and blur
events which require user interaction.
This might be possible using refs, but introducing those at this point can be a breaking change, so I'll keep this in mind for when I plan 1.0.0
.
Also maybe a formState.isValid boolean value or function that is true when all formState.validity values are true.
I think this is a great idea. For the time being it's possible to calculate that using this helper hook:
