CJ4: Would it be possible to handle the two FMS:es separately? about fspackages HOT 7 CLOSED

It is definitely on the list. Though it is quite complicated and a few mod teams struggle with it.
I've seen proof of concepts of it working, but afaik you need to apply quite dirty hacks to make it possible. I guess we will have to see over time.

Yeah, as well as different MFD screens. At a quick glance, it seems the two FMS's are bundled together, so it will require considerable effort to enable split usage. But definitely a worth while goal.

We will need to amend the model to have different textures and then we can run separate instances of the FMC, MFD and PFD. We will also have to investigate the degree to which this option causes performance problems.

Gonna throw this out there and then will duck :-) IF in the short term it was possible and easier than creating full "swapability" of all pages between both units, it would be very convenient to at least have the TUN page on the right unit. This would be especially handy for online flying for radio freq changes. Many rw videos show that's the way it's often used.

@dihedral977 - It's not a code issue so much as it is a model problem. The cockpit model has just one FMC display texture, and uses it on both sides.
