On KDE it shows the same problem if automatic mounting is enabled. It can be fixed by manually disabling "Enable automatic mounting of removable media" in settings, but it would be nice if it didn't have to be done.

For the same error with last version, i should stop the systemd automount (and restart after):
sudo systemctl stop udisks2

You can try different USB stick. Also try to use woeusb from terminal (remember about sudo).

Strange, I can help with debugging it tomorrow if that helps in solving it

This is the only 16gb pendrive I've got :(
Also try to use woeusb from terminal (remember about sudo).
There is no way file is too large. The pendrive was completely wiped before install.

Update: apparently my pendrive was bad. I tried HDD from and old laptop and it worked. The issue can be closed I guess

You are a hero @OliverParoczai !
from woeusb-ng.
This is still a problem for KDE, WoeUSB-NG needs to unmount before attempting to mount again, just in case something else automatically mounts it (such as automount on volume creation/attach).

i have exactly the same problem. the temporary workaround is to run sudo woeusbgui
in terminal.
