Can someone point me how to get started with this? I really want hot reloading to work with this plugin

gatsby-plugin-intl is a great plugin because it just works without arcane customizations.
However, it would be nice to avoid all the repetition of gatsby clean && gatsby develop.

FYI for those who hit the same issue as me: even a restart of gatsby develop does not seem to clear the cache in order for updates to be reflected. gatsby clean && gatsby develop gets the job done.
