applesimutils uninstall and then reinstall (this upgrade applesimutils version from 0.6.2 to 0.6.6) solved this isuue

I'm seeing this issue on version 0.6.6. I followed the instructions from the pinned issue, as I had compile issues. I removed the tap, uninstalled, reinstalled clean, and am running the latest version. Following the steps in this issue I'm getting no simulators listed and the utility fails any time I try to use it.
