@jonathantneal might have some input since I believe he came up with the design for that theme toggle

I must admit I'm -1! I just went to cssdb and was really confused by what the middle state meant, I think the toggle (or the single button that switches icons on click) is far more common/familiar.

@jasikpark Is this still an issue for you? I know even just a couple of months ago I got "stuck" in dark mode, but it seems fine for me now.

From testing, yes its still saves my setting to localstorage, with no way for me to unset it from the control
