@Ammarpad Thanks for sharing your concern and sorry for the late response! I would like to share that WikiContrib is the second time we changed the name of the project. After we announced it on Wikitech, there were some concerns shared on the first name, and we decided to change it to WikiContrib: https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2019-June/092169.html
Also, this tool is going to be not just about tracking Gerrit and Phabricator but also other technical contributions some of them are listed here:
https://github.com/wikimedia/WikiContrib/blob/master/README.md#planned-features. So, soon it will track broader contributions in the Wikimedia world :)
