Sorry again! That was my mistake - 0.0.11 is compatible with 1.3. It doesn't use anything 1.3 specific other than the plugin loading. It does rely on 1.3's guarantee that highlighting is performed in the order it is specified to implement skip_if_last_matched
though. I don't believe I'll release a 0.0.11 version that works with 1.3 but I really should think about supporting more then one version of Elasticsearch if people other than me are using this.
I'll leave this issue open so the commit I proposed to fix the version matrix (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/161523/) can close it.

Well I'm definitely using this plugin, mostly for the fetch_fields functionality at the moment, which provides a huge performance bonus for my case.
