I get it but it's too complicated. I'm currently using webtor.io but it's half slow. It works the same way though.

I'm not saying to not persist the incoming data. Just asking if it's possible to download/buffer the stream into memory, hold it until viewer watched the whole stream, then discard from the memory? (To be independent of disk storage)

It'll also eliminate the caching, remove the buffer latency completely & enable direct access to the stream.

Okay. Just found the solution
echo 'RuntimeDirectorySize=75' >> /etc/systemd/logind.conf
reboot & do
webtorrent --mpv -o $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR <magnet-link>
Runs very smoothly with instantaneous timeline scrubbing
The only gripe is that I have to manually remove stream file/folder after that.
