We don't maintain v4 anymore including its sub packages. It has been more than 10 month since the update to v5 and we can't guarantee at this point that tests in v4 are still going to work. Please update to v5, cheers!

Turns out it's already updated, but now it has a different npm package name:
@wdio/sync
And if you use jasmine, this is the new package name:
@wdio/jasmine-framework
I think it would be worth updating the deprecated npm package descriptions pointing to the new names. It took me a solid 2h to find all of this :(

@christian-bromann, would you mind publishing this package as something like 0.7.4? This module is depended on by the latest wdio-mocha-framework compatible with wdio@4, and seems to be blocking using Node 12 with that package alongside wdio 4. Thanks!
