[Request] Favorites on map + update notification about dynmap HOT 5 CLOSED

Yes, the idea I had was to hook into other plugins that supply information about their locations. I still have to see how that'll work and I might need to work together with other developers, but that was the idea.
This should enable: warps, portals, homes, favorites, others?

Something else you could do is provide X/Y/Z coords on mouseover. Would help greatly with teleporting to specific areas.

Ah yes, there is one (small) problem with that: the client can not know the X,Y,Z coords just from the map. It should ask the server to do the map-coords to world-coords conversion, which would get a bit cumbersome at the moment. Though making drag-drop players a feature would be much cooler. Some day... but that's a topic for another feature-request ;).

I'd like that very much for marking landmarks. It would also be great if maybe warps (from essentials plugin) could be marked on the map (with names)

I know this is VERY old, so I'm going to close it out - we've done what was discussed here with the "markers" feature in dynmap itself, plus the various Dynmap-* add-ons (including the essentials support mentioned). The API is available for other plugins, as well.
