Hi, I guess you are reading my mind :-)
I'm planning this to one of the next releases where I'd like to revamp the scrobbler popup in order to introduce new functionality just like local database, song loving and other. But in general it is quite a big deal so it will take some time.

Just +1'ing this feature request, should be possible to just store videoID -> "Artist - Trackname" key/value pairs and check the LocalStorage for this videoID if it's not scrobbling.

@NathanWatson @david-sabata By local database, was it meant that the corrected track info would be permanently stored for future plays of the same video?
