Loading problem with cached files about templateenginetwig HOT 4 CLOSED

@m-knorr Does this happen on the latest versions of the TemplateEngineFactory and TemplateEngineTwig module? The commented markup is generated by Twig. I copied your snippet from above and can't find any errors in it - PHP should be able to parse it.

Can you check if disabling ProcessWire's FileCompiler on your twig templates solves the issue? Your issue sounds similar to this one: https://processwire.com/talk/topic/6835-module-twig-for-the-templateenginefactory/?do=findComment&comment=131897

@wanze Perfect, didn't know about the {# FileCompiler=0 #}

With a short test it worked for me! My Twig Files have the endig .twig, too.

Thanks for your help! Maybe there is a way to deactivate it globally!?

@m-knorr Thanks for the feedback, glad it works! I know it's a hack at the moment. However, there's already a pull request open which provides the needed functionality: processwire/processwire#13
I hope it's accepted soon, then I can update the module to exclude the twig templates path.

@m-knorr I pushed a potential fix for this problem to the dev branch. Do you have any chance to test if it solves your issues? You'd need the newest dev branch of ProcessWire together with the dev branch of this module :) Thanks!
