Hi!
Does this represent a real use case? A slot can't just randomly change - why do you want to update it mid test? Do you have a more realistic scenario you can share?
I would really recommend just writing another test with the desired slot.

I agree with @lmiller1990 , I don't think this is needed.
You can write several tests to test different slots or use a "test component" and change its slot dynamically.
Something like (pseudo code):
