Sorry. Said "directive" but really this would be a component...I guess...or something new.

Essentially a way to embed the v-repeate directive into a page without having it tied to a DOM element...but that sounds impossible the more I try to express it. 😕

Haha I get it. I've seen similar requests before. I guess it would be more similar to Angular's ng-repeat-start & ng-repeat-end.

@yyx990803 What about something like v-repeat-contents or v-repeat-children where the contents/children of the containing element would be repeated rather than repeating the container + contents/children?

@holic that's a good idea too. The issue currently is more about the fact that VMs are designed to manage one root element at a time. Might need some non-trivial changes to make this feasible.

Ah, no worries then. I personally would rather the extra markup than to further complicate Vue.
