make uploaded MediaFiles accessible via Vanilla API

Hi,

is there a way how to make the added pictures to comments and discussions accessible via a the REST-API (https://github.com/kasperisager) of vanilla open source ?

I dont know why you dont extend the comments/discussion models so they would automatically deliver the relations to the media-files connected to them.
Other way would be to register a Media Ressource in the APIMapper and then get the related discussion - is this possible ?
