I found that puppetlabs/stdlib must be installed. This is another dependency not clear in the documentation

Yes indeed, the documentation should be improved. You need to also have
puppetlab's stdlib module[1]. Their last version doesn't work with
puppet 2.7 (which we're also using). You should check the compatibility
nodes in their README.

I just noticed we have a big pull request
#34 waiting to be
merged shortly (probably next week).
I'm not sure how much the module's usage will change, but you might
already want to check it out. Anyway, I'll wait for that merge to submit
changes to the documentation.

Thanks for this quick response. I installed stdlib from puppet forge and it works with 2.7 which is great.
About the PR i imagine you talk about this one #30. I'll wait to see if it gets merged.
