Input validation for the init file parameters about puppet-elasticsearch HOT 5 CLOSED

yeah, issue is that there is no single reference...
does make it difficult to handle it... not sure if we can do sane input validation then..

One thing that might be important is to have the 'key' parts all in uppercase. is that doable in the template file? ( that way if people write it in lowercase they don't have to worry to much )

Think allowing for lower case might be interesting. but beyond that i think we just should assume they will put in the right things :-)

it's not obvious to say what is the right things in this case, for me the most important is to offer the possibility to manage/automate default settings without assumptions about what is right or not. IMHO you can close this issue.

Lets keep it as it is now and can always improve it if required.
