Hey @unbreakabl3,

Thank you for your issue.

We would need a bit more info.

From what I can see our definition is correct...

Can I ask you to run:

JSON.stringify(Object.keys(spec.deviceChange[0].device.backing))

and send us the output?

Sure. Please.
Stopped in a debug mode after the line
spec.deviceChange[0].device.backing = new VcVirtualPCIPassthroughVmiopBackingInfo();

Backing seems to be null... weird. And you claim that it works if you pass VcVirtualPCIPassthroughVmiopBackingInfo ? I mean javascript won't complain but does it actually do anything? According to the API Explorer it shouldn't be accepted. Can you provide proof that it works and we can triage on this internally

Hi, @Michaelpalacce .

I am just not sure how I can prove it πŸ˜„. If that wouldn't work, I would open another issue... But here all started with IntelliSense issue and not because it didn't work ☺️.

This code is working in JS:

var spec = new VcVirtualMachineConfigSpec();
var deviceSpec = [];
deviceSpec[0] = new VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpec();
spec.deviceChange = deviceSpec;
spec.deviceChange[0].operation = VcVirtualDeviceConfigSpecOperation.add;
spec.deviceChange[0].device = new VcVirtualPCIPassthrough();
spec.deviceChange[0].device.deviceInfo = new VcDescription();
spec.deviceChange[0].device.deviceInfo.summary = '';
spec.deviceChange[0].device.deviceInfo.label = 'New PCI device';
spec.deviceChange[0].device.backing = new VcVirtualPCIPassthroughVmiopBackingInfo();
// eslint-disable-next-line @typescript-eslint/ban-ts-comment
//@ts-ignore
spec.deviceChange[0].device.backing.vgpu = vGPUProfile;
System.debug("Reconfigure VM '" + vm.name + "' to attach '" + vGPUProfile + "' vGPU profile");
return vm.reconfigVM_Task(spec);
