Attachment Upload fakepath about jquery-comments HOT 2 CLOSED

You need to upload the image wrapped to FormData object like presented in the documentation http://viima.github.io/jquery-comments/#link-3-6. You also need to set the contentType and processData parameters to false.

var formData = new FormData();
$(Object.keys(commentJSON)).each(function(index, key) {
    var value = commentJSON[key];
    if(value) formData.append(key, value);
});

$.ajax({
    url: '/api/comments/',
    type: 'POST',
    data: formData,
    cache: false,

        successfulUploads.push(commentJSON);
