You can adjust the scale and translate parameters of the map projection in your Vega specification to zoom and pan the map within the web-based editor. If you'd like to produce a static map view, this is the preferred way to go. You just need to determine the right parameters first.

There are no interactive zoom controls akin to D3's zoom behavior (yet), but these will be considered (along with other interactive behaviors) for future versions.

Any chance you can post a code snippet to show zooming in on a map? Possibly, on a mouse-scroll.

Hi everybody,

Here's a start. Panning with the mouse works, zooming as well, allthough not how you'd expect. Works for me. You can try out this vega json spec in the public editor at http://vega.github.io/vega-editor/?mode=vega.
