Sounds stops when notification audio plays about vanilla HOT 4 CLOSED

This cannot (cleanly) be done in VanillaMusic: It should be done in the android framework.

There is no clean way to get notified BEFORE a notification plays.
If you need this feature you should switch to a ROM that provides this functionality in the framework (like CyanogenMod)

"Android framework"? (I haven't done much Android coding; I tried making a playlist editor then stopped when I found out Play Music doesn't use the system playlists anyway and no other player seemed sufficient, but I don't remember any mention of that).
