What do you mean with 'browsing' ? Clickin on a link in the webbrowser?
Does Vanilla silently quit or do you get an error message?
About the lockscreen: I don't have any HTC phone, so i can not test/debug this issue :-/

it also can be known as multitasking, random.app crashes, where the music stops playing..
And ill save myself without the lockscreen :).

no error messages, vanilla silently quits. only the music stops playing, when i try to multitask

This looks like you have a task killer installed:
Please exclude VanillaMusic from it or uninstall the task killer (they are not needed)
