Touch response on large screen touch devices about smartmenus HOT 3 CLOSED

Hi, thanks for reporting this! It's definitely an issue on Windows 8 + touch screen (you can check on Android or iOS and it should be ok). I will try to test on a Win 8 touch device ASAP and fix this.

Hm, it might get a while before I am able to test on a touch-enabled Win8 hardware, just a quick question - is it working correctly in IE and Chrome? Is this a Firefox-only issue?

OK, I've done a bit more investigation (unfortunately, without being able to test on a real device, just on a simulator) but it seems this is caused by the fact that Firefox currently does not support the touch events on the desktop in Win8 (actually they've disabled them temporarily):

So I am still hesitant to try to implement a workaround since it's obviously a temporary issue for them and they do plan to enable touch events again soon. I will probably wait a bit more before acting...
