Docker 0.8 may change a lot of this since images can now have multiple tags, which also include the repo name properly.

@Soulou, I'm a bit confused. So you're trying to remove only the one tag? I'm assuming you're trying to run image.remove
not image.delete
, in which case the problem stems from it passing the image ID, not the repo:tag?
Would an untag
method do what you're looking for? I feel like that would be best to pass to the delete method. That way you are sure you're not deleting by image ID, and only by it's repo:tag.

Given the default behavior of Image#delete
, I can see that we would need something like Image#delete(tag)
that when given a tag just untags and does not delete the image.
