Destroy an image by its repository about docker-api HOT 4 CLOSED

Docker 0.8 may change a lot of this since images can now have multiple tags, which also include the repo name properly.

@Soulou, I'm a bit confused. So you're trying to remove only the one tag? I'm assuming you're trying to run image.remove not image.delete, in which case the problem stems from it passing the image ID, not the repo:tag?

Would an untag method do what you're looking for? I feel like that would be best to pass to the delete method. That way you are sure you're not deleting by image ID, and only by it's repo:tag.

Given the default behavior of Image#delete, I can see that we would need something like Image#delete(tag) that when given a tag just untags and does not delete the image.
