I assume you mean #insert_local instead of #include_local.

Regardless, under the hood Docker::Image#insert_local uses the POST /build API request to insert the files. Although the rm query parameter is not documented, Docker clearly uses it in its docker build CLI command.

However, this only ensures that intermediate containers will be removed -- not images (see the output of docker build --help). In fact, since the final image created through a build command depends on the other images that were generated, it would be impossible to remove them without removing the final image that was built. That being said, you could untag them.
