I realize that this is quite a bit late, but I just removed this from the packages folder, put it into the assets folder and fixed the things that still existed. You can see in the project view here:

This way you can just edit what needs to be edited.

I wish I could. Apparently, it was completely removed from my Imgur account for some reason.. : / I went back and looked at the images from on and around the date of my post and it was not there.

If I remember correctly, I went into the root folder, the one that has Asset, ProjectSettings Library, etc, and went into the Packages folder, and in there was the folder for this repos package. I then cut and pasted that from Packages and into Assets, which then made it so I could just locate the error in the code and change it and then recompile and all was well.
