You could try setting the TileData.gameObject property with your prefab for your Tile's GetTileData method. If you are using Tile, you can set the gameObject prefab instead. This should instantiate that Prefab when that Tile is placed on the Tilemap.
Adjustments to the Prefab instance can be made using the StartUp method, such as shifting the position.

Can be a good addon to this repository, not sure how to use TileData.gameObject, does any example exist?
