We are students from the University of Texas at Austin taking a virtualization course (cs360v) looking for opportunities to contribute to an open source project for class credit.

It looks like all instances of python have been replaced to python3. If the global PYTHONCMD is defined by what is listed in support/kconfiglib/makefile.patch then that still says +PYTHONCMD ?= python. I am not sure if that still needs an update?
