Hi @d-gibbs ,
I've release version 1.1.1 of the package with updates to content type retrieval.
I am closing this now, let me know if you have other input.

Hi @ANT-GBR,

Could you tell me which version of Umbraco are you using?

Hey @acoumb - just wanted to add that this issue is reproducable in Umbraco v11 too.

Hi Tony,

I am unable to replicate the issue, would you mind sharing with me the document types structure of your web application?
The get the list of document types, I am using the contentTypeResource.getAll function from the backoffice API and filter the items by parentId == -1 and !isElement.

Could you also try maybe running the getAll function and compare the results?

Thank you

Hey @acoumb, can you reproduce this issue in Umbraco v11? We have similar problem, although I don't see any console errors, the document types control just doesn't load.

If it's any help, our document types are structured like this:

I'm not familiar with the API myself but if you're filtering by items where parentId == -1 would that only bring back content types at the root level?

Thanks

d-gibbs avatar d-gibbs commented on August 10, 2024

That does indeed seem to be the problem as if I create a content type at the root it appears in the control as expected:

I think it needs to account for folders/nesting for it to work correctly.
