Indeed, and this is a challenge with staging LDA deployments in general.
As noted under ISSUE-22, proxy to a resource is primarily intended for case where that resource is cooperating and intending to serve data in the registry namespace or at least expecting to be visited via the registry. Use redirects instead of proxy mode in other cases.
