We would also leave the [key: string]: any; as it should allow it to also contain any other property that is needed but we can make the lives of the library users nicer with some auto complete and well make python just work :)
Well this is the underlying issue. Typescript/Javascript are fine all other languages are impacted by it.
Still would be nice to make autocompletion help and make python work with the top level properties. Doing some more testing now on the proposed fix. The fun part will be testing it in ci.

Opened and then closed #27 and just adding it here since its related. Just another inline definition issue that needs to be address.

I'm going to deprecate this construct. A few weeks ago there was an update to the native CloudFormation resource, which now finally supports updates.
