just as a note there is no flow definition for the long library https://github.com/dcodeIO/long.js

This is what Long is in the thrift serialization/deserialization library

I believe it is serialized into a Long object, but haven't confirmed it, since the thrift objects I'm accessing don't use the Long type but there are dependencies on other libraries that use Long even though the application I'm writing doesn't use it.

My workaround is to create a new definition
Here is the libs definition for my .flowconfig

flow-typed

I created a file called long.js in flow-typed with the following definition

// @flow
type Long = any;

When someone creates a flow type definition for long then the definition can be overriden.
