reputation_for returning 0 about activerecord-reputation-system HOT 4 CLOSED

The problem was that I was using the same name (:votes) for both the link reputation and the user reputation. I changed the user reputation to has_reputation :points, :source => { "reputation => :votes, :of => :links }, and now all is well. Not sure why the single common reputation name works in development though..

ok, I manage to fix it. In production a reputation that builds other reputation should have source_of: on has_reputation directive, as:

has_reputation :votes, source: :user, aggregated_by: :sum, source_of: {reputation: :score, of: :user}

somehow it doesn't matter on development... ¯(°_o)/¯
