I believe the OP is asking about the https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/aws/[email protected]/service/configservice which is a very different service than appconfig. Specifically the title is referring to the config recorder, which is recording configuration changes in the account and rules are used against these changes to determine compliance with a standard. I pulled up this thread because I am also looking for support for the configservice.

Yes we should be referring to config service, not appconfig service
