We all know its a vanilla issue and isn't the fault of Tuinity, but there could be a patch of Tuinity to fix it.

Know what else evades the cramming rule? All entities that are in a climbable block, like a ladder or vines ;)

This is a vanilla issue and is not the fault of Tuinity. If you are curious @BillyGalbreath has a patch that would fix your issue that you can find here

Basically you can bypass the vanilla MaxEntityCramming gamerule by making the mobs stack on ladders and I think some other blocks if I recall like vines and they will kill your TPS.

I'm well aware that screwing around with this affects vanilla mob farm mechanics. In general I don't like maintaining config options for performance related things that make tradeoffs with behavior, I prefer to improve the base performance enough such that no config option is needed.

Purpur is the solution here, as they have this config option (as you pointed out).
