You can comment the metadata, such that it is not taken into account anymore.
As far as I got it, they are only needed if you want to use the PDF/A option.
Should work then.

Sorry, I somehow dropped that Ticket.
First of all, yes you should update to get it working properly.
The second option is to switch to pdfa=false and not use the \Metadata command.
The Fallback does the same and automatically falls back to pdfa=false. Therefore you get the second error, since \Metadata is still used.
